Information is an important resource for the companies today. How information actually is gathered and used varies very much.Information may be a tool for a special function in the company, or it can be a basic resource for the whole company activity.Information culture is responsible for the unwritten, unconsious behaviour and fills the gap between what officially has happened and what really happened. The aim with the project is to show how the information culture is structured in insurance companies in Finland and in a wider perspective look at the social intelligence in the business environment.Today s competitive advantages in comparison to the information culture are especially examined.
